The SaaS rush

Software is eating the world and SaaS is eating software.

The whole of India seems to climb on the SaaS bandwagon.

Based on my reading on the topic, the most important criteria are:

     1. Finding the right product market fit
     2. Domain knowledge knowhow
     3. Assembling a team with complementary skills
     4. Design thinking

There are start-up accelerators who, if they sense potential in your product idea, help you with the funding, while also helping you achieve your goal in a capital-efficient way.

There’s also the buzz around founder optionality (my next post), whereby founders aren’t completely cornered by the investors and can think more independently about the product and their employees.
